Jim Paradis is the owner and proprietor of Baldwin Hill Art & Framing. He graduated from MIT in 1984 with a degree in computer science and worked in the computer industry for a number of years. He is married to artist Tamara Gurevitz, and after having framed a number of her works over the years he embarked on a second career as a picture framer. He trained at the American Picture Framing Academy and opened his first shop in Leominster in 2004. In 2008 he was awarded Certified Picture Framer (CPF) status by the Professional Picture Framers of America. He lives in downtown Natick with his wife, musical instruments, and far too many artworks, books, and cats.
Tamara Gurevitz has been managing the shop full time since 2013. She is an artist in her own right, under the name Tamu, and holds an MFA in Visual Arts from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University.
