In an effort to provide exposure to the talented artists in our area, Baldwin Hill is proud to represent several notable local artists:
Tamara Gurevitz, daughter of noted Cape Cod artist and sculptor Saul Gurevitz, is an exciting newcomer on the Boston arts scene. Her colorful and whimsical paintings reflect the Eastern European influences of Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky, and Marc Chagall, while adding a unique language all her own. Her digital art pieces are more subtle and cerebral, striving to connect the abstract with the here-and-now.
Born in Petionville, near Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Adrienne Dejoie brings us classic works in the Haitian "Primitif" style. Her bold use of form and color have been known to stop casual viewers dead in their tracks and draw them into the brightly-colored worlds depicted in her canvases.
