Support Haitian Earthquake Relief

We have all seen the images of the aftermath of the earthquake  in Haiti on the news.  The utter devastation.  The desperation.  The ill and injured begging for help.  The unspeakable joy of finding those who survived, as well as the terrible grief of finding those who did not.

To support the ongoing relief efforts in Haiti, Baldwin Hill Art & Framing is offering prints of the painting Noble Woman by Haitian-born artist Adrienne Dejoie.  Though living in the States now, she still has family in and around Port-Au-Prince.  We have not yet heard of their status, but we pray for their health and well-being.

Noble Woman is a beautiful painting in bold colors, capturing the dignity, strength, and tenderness of a mother caring for her children.  The mother looks the viewer straight in the eye, in a manner not of confrontation but of quiet dignity.  She holds her infant son on her lap as her daughter nuzzles her shoulder, all in front of a bright floral background.

Proceeds from the sale of these prints will be donated to Doctors Without Borders and Partners in Health, two fine organizations who had been doing tremendous work in Haiti prior to the earthquake.  They need our support to continue their work in this time of utmost need.

Prints are available in three sizes: 8×10, 11×14, and 16×20, and may be purchased framed or unframed.
